COURSE DESCRIPTION

Certificate III in Business is a nationally recognised qualification that provides foundational skills and knowledge needed to start a career in the business world. The qualification is designed to develop a broad range of administrative competencies that can be applied in varied work contexts.

The course is designed to cover the skills and knowledge that will enable a candidate to work autonomously, under instruction, or as a support to a team.

COURSE STRUCTURE

VC Education delivers industry-focused training and assessment that provides you with the skills, knowledge, and experience to achieve Certificate III in Business.

VC Education’s Certificate III in Business has been developed by industry professionals and is focused on current and emerging industry trends, whilst providing you with ‘real world’ and practical application.

To achieve this qualification, you must demonstrate competency in 13 units of competency comprised of 6 core units and 7 electives

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Must be 18 years or older
Will be required to demonstrate the required level or languages, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills
No formal pre-requisite required, but is beneficial for the student to have relevant industry experience

OVERVIEW

This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of business services job roles. It is likely that these individuals are establishing their own work performance.

DELIVERY METHOD

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Assessment is made available to candidates who can demonstrate a minimum of two (2) years of relevant industry experience. The RPL Assessment process is conducted by a qualified industry expert Trainer and Assessor. Once the RPL Assessment is complete, candidates will be issued with a Training Plan detailing the units of competency to be trained and assessed.

Training is offered through VC Education’s online Learning Management System (LMS), classroom-based or face-to-face at your workplace. The delivery of training will vary depending on the candidate’s requirements.

Duration: Maximum 24 months
